As President of CTC Destination Management, Shannon is responsible for the overall strategic direction of the company. She spent the last 10-years leading the DMC team at Accent Indy, a DMC partner of CTC based in Indianapolis, where she continues to fulfill the role of President. Her understanding and attention to vendor relations and client satisfaction are trademarks of her tenure in the events industry. Shannon spent over 10-years in the hospitality industry prior to assuming her leadership role with Accent Indy.

SHANNON GARDNER, DMCP

President

Barb is known for her playful energy, dedication to greatness, and commitment to industry advancement.  With nearly 15 years’ hospitality experience, her diverse background as a planner, client and supplier provides the unique perspective of always knowing what the “other side” needs to succeed, and the communication skills to bridge them together.  After spending nearly 5 years on the CTC team from 2008 – 2013, she proudly returned as Vice President, Event Services in 2017.

Vice President, Event Services

With over 15 years of Industry and DMC experience, Daniel brings a love for hospitality and all things Chicago to the table. He is a great mentor to our entire team and is always encouraging us to bring the highest level of service and professionalism to each and every program. Heavily active in the Association of Destination Management Executives International (ADMEI), Daniel continues to grow his professional network and keeps a pulse on new and developing industry trends. Outside of the office, he stays fit by running, is a die-hard Britney fan (we know, it’s toxic), and will never turn down a good happy hour. He’s an avid University of Iowa fan…Go Hawkeyes!

DANIEL ECKLUND, DMCP

Director, Event Services

After starting her career in the fashion industry, Megan quickly brought her flair for creativity and working with people to the hospitality industry.  Megan currently serves as Senior Manager, Event Services at CTC Destination Management and joined the team in August of 2013. Her diverse background in catering, sales, event marketing, and fundraising has allowed her to excel at planning and operating complex events and programs.

MEGAN MILLIGAN, DMCP

Senior Manager, Event Services

Michael is a hospitality veteran, having worked in the special events industry since 1999. From managing marketing tours for a single malt scotch whisky, to running shuttles for hundreds of thousands, he always seem to have a smile on his face and a skip in his step. From 2004-2017, Michael was an independent contractor for local DMC’s, Third Party planners and end clients alike. He has seen it all, and averaged 200+ events a year since 2004.  Although he can talk extensively about managing events in roughly 20 different markets, it’s his love for Chicago that puts him and the CTC team a mile ahead of the rest. Take a trip anywhere in our great city and he will be sure to bore/intrigue you with fun little facts and takeaways.

MICHAEL ANDERSEN

Senior Operations Manager, Event Services

Gabbi joined the CTC team in January 2018 as an intern and we just couldn’t let her go! She is excited to bring her love for hospitality and positive attitude to CTC and our clients. A recent graduate of DePaul University, Gabbi received her Bachelors of Science in Business in Hospitality Leadership with a concentration in Event Management. Born and raised in the Chicagoland area, Gabbi is an expert when it comes to the best food, views, and fun in the city. She is an active member in various associations across the hospitality industry. Her outgoing and approachable personality is evident by her willingness to pet any dog with which she crosses paths. Gabbi’s never-ending energy, diverse skill set and constant pursuit of excellence make her the perfect team member.

GABBI SERPICO

Manager, Event Services

Some say they are Hospitality Professionals, but not all can say they are Hospitality Lifers. Born and raised in Chicago, Dani spent six years in Food and Beverage then Hotel Sales before she entered the creative world of Destination Management.  She enjoys networking and connecting with people from all different professional backgrounds, and understands the importance and gratification of building strong, strategic relationships and the impact they can have on long-term business growth. Dani joined CTC Destination Management in 2019 and brings the joy of human connection and quick witted humor to the team.

DANI FEIGENBERG

Manager, Business Development

There are foodies, and then there are foodies. That’s just one of the ways we introduce our creative coordinator, Audrey Sullivan. Audrey received her Bachelor of Science in Recreation with a Tourism, Hospitality & Event Management degree from Indiana University. Born in Singapore, but raised in Cleveland, Ohio, this family oriented Midwesterner is not afraid to take on new challenges. With a passion for exploring new and daring cuisine, she knew Sweet Home Chicago was the place she wanted to set up roots. Audrey spends her days assisting the team with day to 

AUDREY SULLIVAN

Coordinator, Event Services

Haley O’Rourke started her career in the event industry in the mid 90’s after graduating college in Chicago and moving to Colorado. After 8 years of working in a resort town in the hospitality industry it was time to move back to the Midwest.  Upon returning to her hometown of Chicago, Haley stumbled into the life of a Travel Director and freelancer for local DMC’s. Two decades later, she decided it was time to get off the road and settle down with the best in Chicago, CTC Destination Management. Her resume is heavy in F&B as well as Transportation but staffing and office management are her main focus these days. When not working, Haley enjoys time with her twin daughters, husband and being on her boat on Lake Michigan. 

HALEY O'ROURKE

Manager. Business Services

Jeremy’s role as Vice President, Business Services at CTC Destination Management puts him in the middle of everything, literally.  Responsible for the daily business operations of CTC, he manages accounting, legal, IT, travel, HR and other operational areas of the company.  Jeremy is a veteran of the corporate travel and hospitality industry, having spent 15-years in business travel account management and sales before joining the CTC team in 2016.  He also serves in a similar position at Accent Indy, a DMC partner of CTC Destination Management based in Indianapolis.

JEREMY GARDNER, GTP

Vice President, Business Services

Shawn currently serves as the Manager of Business Services at CTC.  A 2011 graduate of IUPUI, Shawn completed his degree in Tourism, Conventions, and Event Management.  While in school Shawn joined the CTC team as a part time event staffer and has been with them since 2008.  Prior to joining the CTC team full time, Shawn was an accounting manager at one of Midwest’s largest hotels and conference centers.
